Definition

The bridgeness of a vertex vi is the distance of its membership vector ui=[u1i ,u2i , . . . ,uci] from the reference vector [1/c , 1/c , . . . , 1/c] in the Euclidean vector norm, inverted and normalized to the interval [0,1] as follows:
